Thought inspiration view UEGW 34

In the thought inspiration view, God makes sure that the prophet un-derstands the revelation sufficiently to accurately convey the meaning in a trustworthy manner to the intended recipient using his or her own words. It does not exclude the possibility that God at times does guide the words of the prophetic messenger, but this is not the usual method. In this view, God’s normal way of working is to create an accurate understanding of the divine communication in the mind of the prophet. The messenger then conveyed this understanding under the direction and supervision of the Holy Spirit in such a way that God’s message was communicated. UEGW 34.3
