Luke 24 ISV — Luke 24

1 But at early dawn on the first day of the week, a24:1 Lit. first of the Sabbaths they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. ISV — Luke 24:1

4 While they were puzzling over this, two men in dazzling robes suddenly stood beside them. ISV — Luke 24:4

17 He asked them, “What are you discussing with each other as you’re walking along?” They stood still and looked gloomy. ISV — Luke 24:17

18 The one whose name was Cleopas answered him, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who doesn’t know what happened there in the past few days?” ISV — Luke 24:18

20 and how our high priests and leaders handed him over to be condemned to death and had him crucified. ISV — Luke 24:20

31 Then their eyes were opened, and they knew who he was. And he vanished from them. ISV — Luke 24:31

39 Look at my hands and my feet, because it’s really me. Touch me and look at me, because a ghost doesn’t have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” ISV — Luke 24:39

44 Then he told them, “These are the words that I spoke to you while I was still with you—that everything written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms had to be fulfilled.” ISV — Luke 24:44

45 Then he opened their minds so that they might understand the Scriptures. ISV — Luke 24:45
