Angels also were present at Jesus' baptism. The Holy Spirit came down in the form of a dove, shining on Jesus. People stood looking at Jesus in amazement. Their eyes gazed on Him. John the Baptist was not sure that Jesus was the real Saviour who came to him to be baptized in the River Jordan. God had promised to give John a sign that would help John know who was the Lamb of God. The sign was given when the heavenly dove sat on Jesus. The glory of God shone around Jesus. John pointed to Jesus, saying with a loud voice, "There is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29). SRme 1.858
