Being created in the image of God means that we were made for relationship. In Genesis, God said, “Let Us make man in Our image,” referring to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That tells us that God is relational by nature. The Trinity has always existed in perfect love, unity, and connection. So, when God created us, He wired us for that same kind of relational life. CI 23.2

We weren’t made to do life alone. Whether you’re seeking a faithful relationship or genuine friendship, just as the Father, Son, and Spirit delight in one another, we were made to love, connect with, and serve others. For example, you can join a Bible study or serve others with your time and gifts. Additionally, you can pray with someone or attend a Christian game night with other believers. Even if it’s uncomfortable at first, try to invite people into your life, even if it’s as simple as grabbing a quick meal or going for a walk in nature. Real community reflects a key component of God’s image, and you were created just for it.[22] https://adventistreview.org/feature/the-power-of-fellowship/ CI 23.3
