Counsel #26 — Testimony CI 28

Picture: Counsel #26 — Testimony CI 28.1

Sharing your personal testimony isn’t about putting yourself in the spotlight. It’s about shining a light on what God has done in your life. When you talk about how He has healed your thinking or pulled you from a dark path, you’re showing others that transformation is real and possible. CI 28.2

Maybe God has softened your heart toward people you used to avoid. Maybe your mindset has shifted, and you no longer chase the things of this world but crave what matters to God. That kind of change is powerful, and it is evidence that God is actively working in you. When you share your story with others, it does two things: it gives hope to someone who may feel hopeless, and it reminds you of how far God has brought you. Let your life be proof of God’s goodness, and use your voice to bring encouragement, healing, and truth to others. Most of all, don’t be afraid to speak up and share how faithful God has been to you, for your testimony might just save lives.[28] https://www.adventistmission.org/%E2%80%8Bpower-of-a-testimony CI 28.3

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” Revelation 12:11 NIV CI 28.4

“The Lord designs to warn you, to reprove, to counsel, through the testimonies given…” Ellen White in Believe His Prophets , p. 203 CI 28.5
