Counsel #28 — The Transformation Journey CI 30

Picture: Counsel #28 — The Transformation Journey CI 30.1

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, the journey doesn’t stop there. Becoming more like Him is a lifelong transformation made possible by God’s grace and the power of the Holy Spirit. Although this is comforting, don’t expect it to be easy. During the transformation process, Satan will do everything he can to distract you, discourage you, and make you believe that change isn’t happening. CI 30.2

He’ll use your past to try to convince you that you’ll never truly grow or change. But don’t listen to the lies! God is faithful, and He’s not finished with you. The process of renewal may be slow at times, but every step matters. As you continue to grow, you’ll begin noticing a change in how you think and treat others. The fruits of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control — will start showing up in your everyday life. That’s how you’ll know God is working in you. So don’t give up. Keep praying. Keep trusting and keep your focus on Christ. Your eternity depends on it.[30] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_agVgGoKr1Q CI 30.3
