Despite what many people think, you don’t have to hate yourself to have low self-esteem. Sometimes, low self-esteem isn’t always obvious, but beneath the surface, it often comes from a mix of biology and your environment. CI 67.2

Maybe you grew up in a home where love had to be earned, or where words were more hurtful than helpful. Science tells us that early experiences, especially repeated ones, can literally rewire how we think and feel about ourselves. Even things like anxiety, depression, or trauma can make it harder for your brain to believe that you are worthy of love or capable of success. Thankfully, God is not limited by your upbringing or your biology. He knows every part of you, and the closer you get to Him, the more clearly you’ll see the truth about yourself: You are loved without conditions, and your worth doesn’t shift with your mood or your mistakes. Getting over low self-esteem is a journey, but healing begins with honesty. Bring your broken self-image to God, and let His Word reshape your mind, your perspective, your beliefs.[67] https://np2district.adventisthost.org/bibleinfo_topics/self-esteem?_=1751165824714.645 CI 67.3
