The Bible is full of wisdom and guidance for making wise decisions.^{[97]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEdhp6b6Izs&ab_channel=BibleMunch} Though it may not offer specific counsel for each situation, its principles—general moral rules of conduct that never change—can give us guidance (2 Timothy 3:16, 17). CMH 86.2

Here are some examples of biblical principles to help in making decisions: CMH 86.3

• Love God and love your neighbor. (Matthew 22:37-39) Put the needs of others ahead of your own and make decisions that are in the best interests of everyone involved.
• Do to others as you would have them do to you. (Matthew 7:12) Be fair and considerate in our dealings with others.
• Seek God’s will in everything. (Proverbs 3:5, 6) Pray for guidance and trust that God will lead you in the right direction.
