Daily discipleship is about consistently living out your faith and growing closer to God through simple, practical steps. It starts with setting aside time each day to pray and talk to God, thanking Him for your blessings and asking for guidance. Reading and reflecting on Scripture helps you learn more about God’s character and how His teachings apply to your daily life. As you read your Bible, the Holy Spirit may convict you about a change you need to make in your life. Pray and act on that prompting![60]https://www.instepwithjesus.org/closerwalk4-07a CWe 51.2

Discipleship also means putting your faith into action - showing kindness, forgiving others, and serving those in need. Pray for holy boldness to share your faith with others, through your words, and more importantly through your actions. Daily discipleship isn’t complicated or tasking - it’s about following the Spirit’s prompting in every choice of your life; He will equip you to do what He asks.[61]2 Corinthians 9:8 ERV — “And God can give you more blessings than you need, and you will always have plenty of everything. You will have enough to give to every good work.” CWe 51.3

“Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.” Luke 9:23, 24 NIV CWe 51.4

“During every hour of Christ’s sojourn upon the earth, the love of God was flowing from Him in irrepressible streams. All who are imbued with His Spirit will love as He loved.” Ellen White in The Desire of Ages, p. 677 CWe 51.5
