Sharing God’s truth isn’t easy—or popular. It takes courage, humility, and a deep loyalty to what He says, especially when it conflicts with culture, trends, or even our own desires. CWe 114.2

Let’s be honest: the world is full of distractions. Those diversions aren’t just food cravings or things—but from desiring clout, validation, and comfort. That appetite for approval can creep in and tempt us to soften the truth or say what people want to hear instead of what they need to hear. CWe 114.3

But Jesus never caved to that. He didn’t edit His message to stay liked. He didn’t avoid hard truths to stay "relevant." He lived on mission, and spoke with love, trusting the Spirit to lead—even when it made Him unpopular. We’re called to do the same. CWe 114.4

When we let go of our need for applause and follow God’s will, we find real freedom. The Holy Spirit gives us the clarity and courage to speak truth, live with purpose, and love well—without compromise. So ask God to help you starve the craving for worldly approval. Share His truth with others. That’s how you truly live.[147] https://adventistreview.org/reimagining-faith/what-good-is-truth/ CWe 114.5

“An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies.” Proverbs 12:17 NIV CWe 114.6

“We are to bring into our practice, in our association with others, the spirit of Him who gave us the truth.” Ellen White in Christ Triumphant , p. 331 CWe 114.7

Reflect: Have you ever been scared to tell a friend the truth God impressed you to share with them, perhaps because of a desire for their approval or fear of conflict? CWe 114.8
