It is easy to see a human political leader as the solution to all a nation’s ills, negative changes, and loss of prosperity, centering our conversation and effort into supporting that person. But this kind of “worship” and promotion of a human being is a form of idolatry—replacing God’s place as king of our hearts with that of a faulty human being. CSI 61.3
