GENERAL CONFERENCE BULLETIN
We wish to call the attention of the readers of the BULLETIN to the fact that all subscriptions expire December 31, 1900. This notice was published in the BULLETIN for the second quarter of this year. Since then there have been a number of subscriptions sent in, which will apply on the fourth volume of the paper. These will all be duly credited. Volume IV will begin with the first quarter of 1901. GCB July 1, 1900, page 191.5
As will be observed, the price of the BULLETIN for two years, including both the daily and quarterly issues, has been placed at 75 cents, while the subscription price for the daily BULLETIN alone, which continues during the biennial sessions of the General Conference, is 50 cents. GCB July 1, 1900, page 191.6
This paper is the one adopted by the General Conference to contain the report of the proceeding of the biennial sessions of the General Conference, and a summary of the proceedings of the Committee during the term of two years. It is also used as a general directory for the denomination, and is made the medium of communicating the week of prayer readings to the churches throughout the land. Any one of the above considerations makes the BULLETIN an indispensable part of our work in connection with the message. GCB July 1, 1900, page 191.7
At the recent Council of the General Conference Committee, steps were taken to make the reports in the BULLETIN of the greatest value to all parties concerned. Last year an effort was made to give verbatim reports of the proceedings of the General Conference in open session. This year it is planned that there be a full report of sermons and addresses, reports from the fields, and a general report of the proceedings of the Conference. GCB July 1, 1900, page 191.8
We trust that all renewals and new subscriptions will come in early, so that they may be duly entered. Orders should designate whether the daily BULLETIN alone is wanted at 50 cents. The the daily quarterly issues at 75 cents. The yellow label on the paper, or wrapper, will be a sufficient receipt to the subscriber. Send all orders to the GENERAL CONFERENCE BULLETIN, Battle Creek, Mich., until February 1, 1901. After that, the address of the paper will be Oakland, Cal., care of Pacific Press.
