This criterion should be contrasted with the manner in which Ellen White (identified on the video with the “cult leader”) continually uplifted the Scriptures as “the standard by which all teaching and experience must be tested” (The Great Controversy, p. vii). She wrote, “God’s Word is the unerring standard. The Testimonies are not to take the place of the Word....
