HYMN 14. L. M MIM 21

1 Jesus shall reign where’er the sun
Does his successive journeys run;
His kingdom stretch from shore to shore,
Till moons shall wax and wane no more. MIM 21.1

2 To him shall endless prayers be made,
And praises throng to crown his head;
His name, like sweet perfume shall rise
With every daily sacrifice. MIM 21.2

3 Blessings abound where’er he reigns;
The prisoner leaps to loose his chains;
The weary find eternal rest,
And all the sons of want are blessed. MIM 21.3

4 Where he displays his healing power,
The sting of death is known no more;
In him the sons of Adam boast
More blessings than their father lost. MIM 21.4
