THE SANCTUARY
“And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” Daniel 8:14.BSA 11.2
The sanctuary is not the earth. Exodus 15:17; Leviticus 21:12.BSA 11.3
It is not Palestine. Joshua 24:26; Psalm 78:54.BSA 11.4
It is not the church. Daniel 8:13; Compare Daniel 9:26, with Matthew 16:18.BSA 11.5
It was built by the children of Israel. Exodus 25:8, 9; 36:1-7; 2 Chronicles 20:8.BSA 11.6
It was made after a pattern. Exodus 25:9, 40; 26:30; 27:8; Numbers 8:4; Acts 7:44; Hebrews 8:5.BSA 11.7
It had two apartments - the Holy and Most Holy. Exodus 26:33, 34; Leviticus 21:22, 23; Hebrews 9:1-7.BSA 11.8

That was the type, or figure of the Sanctuary of the New Covenant, which is in heaven, Hebrews 8:1-5; 9:23, 24; Psalm 102:19; Jeremiah 17:12.BSA 12.3
The heavenly Sanctuary is like the earthly in that,BSA 12.4
(1.) It has a service of priesthood. Hebrews 8:1-5; 9:24; 10:19-21; 6:19-20.BSA 12.5
(2.) It has two holy places. Hebrews 9:24; compare Exodus 26:31-35, with Revelation 1:12; 4:1, 2, 5; 11:19.BSA 12.6
(3.) It is cleansed. Daniel 8:14;1This text must refer to the true, or heavenly Sanctuary: for the earthly was destroyed long before the 2300 days (years) had expired. (with blood:) Hebrews 9:11, 12, 23, 24.BSA 12.7
(4.) It contains the law, (covenant or testament.) Exodus 25:21, 22; 26:33, 34; 40:20, 21; 1 Kings 8:6-9; Hebrews 9:1-4; Revelation 11:19.BSA 12.8
(5.) When the glory of the Lord fills the tabernacle, or temple, there is no ministration. Exodus 40:34, 35; 1 Kings 8:10, 11; Revelation 15:8.BSA 12.9
The Most Holy Place was entered only on the day of atonement. Leviticus 16:2, 12-15, 29, 30; Hebrews 9:7; Revelation 11:19.BSA 13.1
Note:- Making the atonement, and cleansing the sanctuary are identical.BSA 13.2
That the covenant, or testament is the Ten Commandments, see Exodus 31:18; 32:15, 16; 34:28; Deuteronomy 4:13; 9:9-11; 10:4.BSA 13.3
From Revelation 15:8, we learn that when the plagues, threatened in the Third Angel’s Message, [Revelation 14:9-11,] and described in Chap. 16, are poured out, there will be no ministration: therefore they are “poured out without mixture,” as the mediation of Christ will then have ceased, and mercy will no more be offered to sinners.BSA 13.4
