Isahluko 24—Endaweni Engcwele Ngcwele IEP 423

Udaba lwethempeli yilo olwaba yikukhanya okwaveza imfihlakalo yokudangala okwehlela abalandeli bakaKrestu ngomnyaka ka1844. Babekhangelele ukuthi abuye ngobukhosi bakhe ukuba azonika inceku zakhe umzuzo. Ngemva kokufiphala kwamathemba wabo, basebelahlekelwe ngumfanekiso kaJesu, ndawonye loMaria ethuneni bakhala besithi: “Bathethe iNkosi yami, njalo angazi ukuthi bambeke ngaphi.” Khathesi endaweni engcwele ngcwele baqala ukumbona futhi, uMpristi wabo oMkhulu olozwelo, owayezakuza masinyane njengenkosi lomkhululi wabo. Ukukhanya kwasethempelini kwakhanyisa izehlakalo zendulo, lezesikhathi ababephila kuso njalo lalokho okwakungaphambili. Babesazi ukuthi uNkulunkulu wayebathungamele ngesandla sakhe esingehlulekiyo. Loba njengabafundi bakuqala, labo ngokwabo babehlulekile ukuzwisisa udaba ababeluthwele, loba kwakunjalo udaba lolu lwaluqondile njalo luqinisekile. Ngokuluhambisa udaba lolu babephelelise injongo kaNkulunkulu, njalo umsebenzi wabo wawungazange ube yize phambi kweNkosi. Sebevusiwe njalo lethemba labo selivuselelwe, bathokoza ngentokozo engachazekiyo. {GC 423.1} IEP 423.1

Amazwi wesiprophethi atholakala kuDanyeli 8:14 athi, “Kuzakwedlula insuku eziyinkulungwane ezimbili lamakhulu amathathu, ngemva kwalokho ithempeli lizakuhlanjululwa,” lodaba lwengilosi yakuqala oluthi, “Mesabeni uNkulunkulu, limdumise, ngoba isikhathi sokuthonisisa kwakhe sesifikile,” ayekhomba emsebenzini kaKrestu endaweni engcwele ngcwele, ekwahluleleni okwenziwa ngemva kokuphenya, njalo ayengakhulumi ngokuza kukaKrestu ezolanda abantu bakhe njalo lokubhujiswa kwababi. Iphutha labo lalingabanga khona ekuzwisiseni isikhathi, kodwa ekuzwisiseni isehlakalo esasizakwenzakala ekupheleni kwamalanga ayi2300. UKrestu wayebuyile, hatshi emhlabeni, ngendlela ababekhangelele ngayo, kodwa ngendlela okwakuchazwe ngayo enkonzweni eyayiyisithunzi endulo,wayengene endaweni engcwele ngcwele yethempeli likaNkulunkulu ezulwini. Uvezwe ngumprofethi uDanyeli ngokuthi wayesiza phambi koMdala weziNsuku: “Ngabona emibonweni ebusuku kufika lamayezi aphezulu ofanana lendodana yomuntu, wafika koyisimakade, wasondezwa phambi kwakhe.” (Danyeli 7:13). {GC 424.2} IEP 424.2

Ukuza lokhu kuveziwe futhi ngumprofethi uMalakhi: “INkosi eliyidingayo izafika masinyane ethempelini layo, isithunywa sesivumelwano elithokoza ngaso siyeza, bheka uyeza kutsho iNkosi yaMabandla.” (Malaki 3:1). Ukuza kweNkosi ethempelini layo kweza masinyane, kungakhangelelwanga ngabantu bakhe. Babengamkhangelelanga lapho. Babekhangelele ukuthi abuye emhlabeni, “ukuphindisela kwabangamaziyo uNkulunkulu lakwabangalaleli ivangeli leNkosi yethu uJesu.” (2 Thesalonika 1:8). {GC 424.3} IEP 424.3

Kodwa abantu babengalungelanga ukuhlangana leNkosi yabo. Kwakulokhe kuselomsebenzi wokulungiselela okwakumele wenzelwe bona. Ukukhanya kwakuzalethwa, okwakuzathungamela ingqondo zabo ethempelini likaNkulunkulu ezulwini, njalo kwakumele ngokukholwa balandele uMpristi wabo oMkhulu emsebenzini wakhe, ngemva kwalokho babezavezelwa umlandu wabo omutsha. Olunye udaba lokuxwayisa njalo lokulaya lwaluzanikwa ibandla. {GC 424.4} IEP 424.4

Umprofethi uthi: “Kodwa ngubani ongalumela usuku lokufika kwakhe, longema ekubonakaleni kwakhe na? Ngoba unjengomlilo wompheki wensimbi, lanjengesepa yomgezisi. Uzahlala esihlalweni sakhe ancibilikise ahlambulule isiliva, ahlambulule amadodana kaLevi, awancibilikise njengegolide lanjengesiliva, aze anikele iminikelo efaneleyo eNkosini.” (Malaki 3:2,3). Labo abazabe bephila emhlabeni lapho umsebenzi kaKrestu wokuncengela ozaphela khona ethempelini lasezulwini kuzamele bame phambi kaNkulunkulu ongcwele bengela muntu obancengelayo. Ngokuxhaswa ngumusa kaNkulunkulu langemizabo yabo yokuzimisela kumele babe ngabanqobi empini yokulwisana lesono. Nxa ukwahlulela okugxile emsebenzini wokuphenya kulokhe kuqhubeka ezulwini, nxa izono zabakholwa ngokweqiniso zisesulwa ethempelini, kumele kube lomsebenzi oqakathekileyo wokuhlanjululwa, owokulahla isono phakathi kwabantu bakaNkulunkulu emhlabeni. Nxa umsebenzi lowu usuphelile, abalandeli bakaKrestu bazabe sebelungele ukuza kwakhe. “Kung’khona iminikelo yakoJuda leyaseJerusalema izakuyithokozisa iNkosi njengasensukwini zasendulo laseminyakeni yakuqala.” (Malaki 3:4). Ngaleso isikhathi ibandla lelo iNkosi ekubuyeni kwayo azalamukela kuye lizaba “libandla elilenkazimulo, elingelacwatshana, lomxhele loba okunye nje.” (Efesu 5:27). Ngemva kwalokho lizabonakala njengowesifazane “omuhle njengenyanga, okhanya njengelanga, oqathanisa inkevane njengempi ephethe izimpawu.” (Ingoma yezingoma 6:10). {GC 425.2} IEP 425.2

Ngaphandle kokuza kweNkosi ethempelini layo, uMalaki uyachaza njalo ngokuza kwakhe kwesibili, lapho ayabe esesiza ukuzonika umvuzo wokwahlulela kwakhe, esebenzisa amazwi lawa: “Besengifika kini ukulithonisisa, ngizakuba ngufakazi okhutheleyo mayelana lezangoma, lezifebe, lokufungela amanga, lokuncindezela abaqatshiweyo ngamaholo abo, lokuncindezela abafelwakazi, lezintandane, lalabo abasunduzela eceleni abezizweni, bengangesabi mina.” (Malachi 3:5). UJuda laye uchaza isehlakalo esifananayo nxa esithi, “Khangelani iNkosi iyeza kanye labangcwele bayo abayizigidi, ukuthonisisa bonke, ibalahle bonke abeyisa uNkulunkulu ngenxa yezenzo zonke zokungamhloniphi abazenzayo, langawo wonke amazwi anzima izoni ezeyisa uNkulunkulu eziwakhuluma ngaye. Ukuza kukaKrestu njengoMpristi wethu oMkhulu endaweni engcwele ngcwele, ukuzohlambulula ithempeli, okuvezwe kuDanyeli 8:14; lokuza kweNdodana yomuntu phambi koMdala weziNsuku, okuvezwe kuDanyeli 7:13; njalo lokuza kweNkosi ethempelini layo, okuvezwe nguMalaki, ngamazwi achaza isehlakalo esifanayo, njalo isihlakalo lesi sivezwe ngomfanekiso womyeni owachazwa nguKrestu endatshaneni yentombi ezilitshumi, kuMathewu 25. {GC 426.1} IEP 426.1

Ngesikhathi sehlobo njalo lesekwindla ngomyaka ka1844 amazwi athi, “Khangelani umyeni uyeza,” atshunyayelwa. Endatshaneni, nxa umyeni wayesebuyile,” labo ababemlungele bangena laye emthimbeni.” Ukuza komyeni okuvezwe lapha, kwenzakala ngaphambi kokufika komtshado. Umtshado umele ukwamukela kukaKrestu umbuso wakhe. UMuzi oNgcwele, iJerusalema eLitsha, eliyilo idolobho elikhulu elimele umbuso wakhe, libizwa “njengomlobokazi, umfazi weWundlu.” Ingilosi yathi kuJohane: “Woza lapha ngikutshengise umlobokazi, umkaWundlu. Sahamba lami ngiseMoyeni, saya entabeni ende, sangitshengisa umuzi ongcwele waseJerusalema usehlela phansi uvela ezulwini kuNkulunkulu. (Isambulo 21:9,10). Kusobala lapha ukuthi umlobokazi umele iDolobho eliNgcwele, njalo intombi lezi eziphuma zisiyahlangabeza umyeni zimele ibandla. Encwadini kaSambulo abantu bakaNkulunkulu bachazwe njengezethekeli edilini lomthimba. (Isambulo 19:9). Nxa beyizethekeli ngeke bachazwe futhi njengomlobokazi. UKrestu njengoba kuvezwe ngumprofethi uDanyeli, uzakwamukela kuMdala weziNsuku ezulwini, “amandla, lobukhosi njalo lombuso;” uzakwamukela iJerusalema eLitsha, eliyisigodlo sombuso wakhe, “elilungiswe njengomlobokazi ocecele umkakhe.” (Danyeli 7:14, Isambulo 21:2). Nxa eseyamukele umbuso, uzakuza ngobukhosi, njengeNkosi yamakhosi, ezohlenga abantu bakhe, “abazahlala phansi loAbrahama, loIsaka njalo loJacobe,” etafuleni lakhe embusweni wakhe ukuba babelengxenye edilini lomthimba weWundlu. (Mathewu 8:11; Luka 22:30). {GC 426.2} IEP 426.2

Ukutshunyayelwa kwamazwi athi, “Khangelani, umyeni uyeza,” ehlobo ngomnyaka ka1844 kwabangela ukuthi inkulungwane zabantu zikhangelele ukuza kweNkosi masinyane. Ngesikhathi esasibekiwe uMyeni weza, hatshi emhlabeni, njengoba abantu babekhangelele, kodwa phambi koMdala weziNsuku ezulwini, emthimbeni, ekusungulweni kombuso wakhe. “Labo ababemlungele bangena ndawonye laye emthimbeni, umyango wavalwa.” Babengasoke babekhona ngokwenyama emthimbeni, ngoba umthimba lowu wenzakala ezulwini, bona besemhlabeni. Abalandeli bakaKrestu “kumele balindele iNkosi yabo, lapho izaphenduka isivela emthimbeni.” (Luka 12:36). Kodwa kumele bazwisise umsebenzi wakhe, njalo bamlandele ngokukholwa nxa engena phambi kaNkulunkulu. Kungale indlela ukuthi bavezwe ngokuthi bayangena emthimbeni. {GC 427.1} IEP 427.1

Kuleyi indatshana kwakuyilabo ababelamafutha ezibaneni zabo abangena emthimbeni. Labo ababelolwazi lweqiniso elitholakala eMbhalweni, babeloMoya njalo lomusa kaNkulunkulu, njalo labo phakathi kobusuku bosizi lwabo, ababelinde ngokubekezela, behlolisisa iBhayibhili befuna ukukhanya okunye, laba yibo ababona iqiniso elimayelana lethempeli elisezulwini, njalo lokutshintsha umsebenzi uMsindisi akwenzayo, njalo ngokukholwa abamlandela emsebenzini wakhe ethempelini eliphezulu. Njalo bonke ngenxa yobufakazi beBhayibhili abamukela amaqiniso afanayo, abalandela uKrestu ngokukholwa nxa wayengena phambi kaNkulunkulu esiyakwenza umsebenzi wakhe wokucina wokuncengela, njalo emaphethelweni omsenbenzi lowu, lapho azamukela khona umbuso wakhe, bonke labo bafananiswe labantu abangena emthimbeni. {GC 427.2} IEP 427.2

Kundatshana engumfanekiso etholakala kuMathewu 22 isibonelo esifananayo somthimba sisetshenzisiwe ngokwakuqala, njalo ukwahlulela okwenziwa ngemva kokuphenya kuvezwe njengokuthi kwenzakala ngaphambi kokufika komthimba. Umthimba ungakayenzakali inkosi iyeza ukuthi izohlola izethekeli, ngenhloso yokufuna ukubona ukuthi bonke bagqoke ingubo yomthimba, okuyingubo ehlambulukileyo emele isimilo esigezwe njalo saba mhlophe egazini leWundlu. (Mathewu 22:11; Isambulo 7:14). Lowo otholakala engekho esimeni esifaneleyo uxotshelwa ngaphandle, kodwa bonke ngemva kokucubungulwa abatholakala begqoke ingubo yomtshado bayamukelwa nguNkulunkulu njalo bayabalelwa kwabafanele ukuba lesabelo embusweni wakhe njalo lendawo yokuhlala esihlalweni sakhe. Umsebenzi lowu wokuphenya izimilo zabantu, owokuhlolisisa ukuthi ngobani abalungele umbuso kaNkulunkulu, yiwo owokwahlulela ngemva kokuphenya, okuyiwo umsebenzi wokucina ethempelini lase zulwini. {GC 428.1} IEP 428.1

Nxa umsebenzi wokuphenya usuphelile, nxa indaba zalabo kusukela ekudabukeni komhlaba abakade bezibiza njengabalandeli bakaKrestu sezihlolisisiwe njalo zagoqwa, kulapho kuphela, ithuba lokulungiselela elizavalwa khona, njalo lomnyango womusa ozakuvalwa khona. Ngakhoke emugceni owodwa, “Bonke ababemlungele bangena laye emthimbeni; unyango wavalwa,” sithwalwa size siyefika emaphethelweni womsebenzi kaKrestu, sisiyafika esikhathini lapho umsebenzi omkhulu wokusindiswa kwabantu ozabe usuphelile khona. {GC 428.2} IEP 428.2

Enkonzweni yasethempelini lasemhlabeni, esesiyibonile, sesinanzelele ukuthi ingumfanekiso wenkonzo yasezulwini, nxa umpristi omkhulu wayengena endaweni engcwele ngcwele ngosuku lokubuyisana, umsebenzi owawusenziwa endaweni engcwele wawusima. UNkulunkulu wabatshela wathi: “Kakungabi khona umuntu ethabanekeleni lokuhlangana, kusukela ekungeneni kwakhe endaweni engcwele ngcwele ukwenza indlela yokubuyisana aze aphume.” (Levi 16:17). Ngokunjalo nxa uKrestu wayengena endaweni engcwele ngcwele ukwenza umsebenzi wakhe wokucina wokubuyisana, waphela umsebenzi wakhe endlini yakuqala. Kodwa nxa umsebenzi ayewenza endlini yakuqala wawusuphelile, umsebenzi wendlu yesibili wawuqala. Nxa enkonzweni yasendulo umpristi wayesuka endaweni engcwele ngosuku lokubuyisana, wayehamba phambi kaNkulunkulu ukuyaletha igazi lomnikelo wesono emele abantwana bakoIsrayeli ababevume izono zabo ngokweqiniso. UKrestu yena wayeseqede ingxenye eyodwa yomsebenzi wakhe njengalowo osincengelayo, esesiyaqala eyinye ingxenye yomsebenzi wakhe, njalo waqhubeka encenga ngegazi lakhe phambi kaBaba encengela izoni. {GC 428.3} IEP 428.3

Udaba lolu aluzange luzwisiswe yilabo ababelindele ukuza kweNkosi ngomnyaka ka1844. Ngemva kokudlula kwesikhathi lapho uMsindisi ayekhangelelwe ukuthi abuye khona, babelokhe bekholwa ukuthi ukuza kwakhe kwakuseduze, babambelela ekuthini babefike ebunzimeni obukhulu, njalo lokuthi umsebenzi kaKrestu njengomeli wabantu phambi kaNkulunkulu wasewumile. Kwabonakala kibo sengathi kwakuyimfundiso yeBhayibhili ukuthi umusa wawuzavalwa kusasele isikhatshana ukuthi uKrestu abuye emayezini wezulu. Lokhu kwabonakala kusobala nxa babesebenzisa amavesi lawa achaza ukuthi abantu bazafuna, baqoqode, njalo bakhale phambi komnyango womusa njalo ungavulwa. Njalo kwakungumbuzo kibo ukuthi kambe isikhathi lesi ababecabanga ukuthi wayezakuza ngaso sasingasiso yini isikhathi esiqala isehlakalo lesi esasizakuza ngaphambi kokuza kwakhe. Ngemva kokunika isimemezelo sokwahlulela okwasekusondele, bacabanga ukuthi umsebenzi wabo emhlabeni wasewuphelile, njalo balahlekelwa ngumlandu wemphefumulo yabantu, ngesikhathi esifananayo ukukloloda lokuhleka kwabangakholwayo kwabonakala kibo njengobufakazi bokuthi uMoya kaNkulunkulu wasewususiwe kulabo ababephike umusa wakhe. Konke lokhu kwabaqinisa ekukholweni ukuthi umusa wasewuvaliwe, kumbe ngendlela ababekubeke ngayo, “umnyango womusa wasewuvaliwe.” {GC 429.1} IEP 429.1

Kodwa ukukhanya okucacileyo kwabuya ngemva kokucubungula umbuzo wethempeli. Bananzelela manje ukuthi babeqondile ngokukholwa ukuthi insuku eziyi2300 zaziphele ngomnyaka ka1844 njalo zazikhomba isehlakalo esibalulekileyo. Kodwa lobanje kwakuliqiniso ukuthi umnyango wethemba njalo lomusa abantu ababefumene ngawo uNkulunkulu okweminyaka eyinkulungwane lamakhulu ayisitshiya galo mbili wasewuvaliwe, omunye umnyango wasewuvuliwe, njalo ukuthethelelwa kwezono kwasekuvulelwe abantu ngenxa yokuncenga kukaKrestu endaweni engcwele ngcwele. Eyinye ingxenye yomsebenzi wakhe yaseyivaliwe, ukwenzela ukuthi ivulele indawo eyinye. Kwakulokhe kulomnyango ovuliweyo owokungena ethempelini lasezulwini, lapho uKrestu ayesebenzela izoni khona. {GC 429.2} IEP 429.2

Manje benelisa ukuzwisisa amazwi kaKrestu encwadini kaSambulo, ayeqondiswe ebandleni elaliphila esikhathini lesi: “Nanku akutshoyo ongcwele loqotho, olekhiye kaDavida, ovula kungavali muntu, lovala kungavuli muntu, ngiyayazi imisebenzi yakho khangela ngimisa phambi kwakho umnyango ovuliweyo, ongela kuvalwa muntu.” (Sambulo 3:7,8). {GC 430.1} IEP 430.1

Yilabo abalandela uKrestu ngokukholwa emsebenzini omkhulu wokubuyisana abathola inzuzo yokubancengela kwakhe, kuthi labo abaphika ukukhanya okuveza umsebenzi lowu abatholi inzuzo leyi okumele bayithole. AmaJuda aphika ukukhanya okwanikwa ekubuyeni kukaKrestu kwakuqala, njalo abayala ukumkholwa njengoMsindisi womhlaba, abazange benelise ukuthola ukuthethelelwa ngaye. Nxa uJesu ngemva kokwenyuka kwakhe wayengena ngegazi lakhe ethempelini lasezulwini esiyanika abalandeli bakhe izibusiso zokusincengela kwakhe, amaJuda asala esebunyameni njalo baqhubeka ngeminikelo yabo eyayingasela msebenzi. Imisebenzi yezithunzi lemfanekiso yaseyidlulile. Umnyango abantu ababewusebenzisile ngokusemthethweni ukufumana uNkulunkulu wawungasavulwanga. AmaJuda ayekwalile ukumdinga ngendlela eyodwa eyaseyivuliwe ababengamthola kuyo, ngomsebenzi owasewusenzakala ethempelini lasezulwini. Ngakhoke abatholanga ukukhulumisana loNkulunkulu. Kibo umnyango wasewuvaliwe. Babengelalwazi lukaKrestu njengomnikelo weqiniso njalo lomeli phambi kaNkulunkulu, ngakhoke babengeke bathole izibusiso zokusincengela kwakhe. {GC 430.2} IEP 430.2

Isimo samaJuda ayengalakho ukukholwa siveza isimo salabo abangakholwayo phakathi kwalabo abazibiza ngokuthi bangamaKrestu, abangazihluphi ngokwazi ngomsebenzi woMpristi wethu oMkhulu. Enkonzweni eyayisenzeka endulo, nxa umpristi omkhulu wayengena endaweni engcwele ngcwele, uIsrayeli wonke kwakumele abuthane ngaphandle kwethabanekeli njalo ngokuzehlisa okukhulu phambi kaNkulunkulu, ukwenzela ukuthi bathole intethelelo yezono zabo njalo bangabulawa basuswe ebandleni. Kukangakanani pho ukuqakatheka kwakhona phakathi kosuku lolu lokubuyisana esiphila kilo manje, ukuba sizwisise umsebenzi woMpristi wethu oMkhulu njalo sazi lokho okumele sikwenze. {GC 430.3} IEP 430.3

Ngenxa yokuba baphika isixwayiso lesi, uMoya kaNkulunkulu wasuswa phakathi kwabo, njalo babhujiswa emanzini kazaMcolo. Ngesikhathi sika Abrahama, umusa wama ukuncenga izakhamizi zase Sodoma, njalo bonke kuphela uLothi lomkakhe lamadodakazi wakhe, babhujiswa ngomlilo owathunyelwa uvela ezulwini. Kwakunjalo ngezinsuku zikaKrestu. Indodana kaNkulunkulu yakhuluma amazwi alandelayo phambi kwamaJuda ayengakholwa ngensuku zakhe: “Khangelani indlu yenu isele ilunxiwa.” (Mathewu 23:38).
