Picture: Counsel #13 — Trust brings blessings CWe 15.1
Trusting God is not merely a passive act of faith, but a way we receive His divine blessings; “perfect peace” perhaps being the best one. Trusting God is intrinsically linked to "everlasting strength" — emotional, mental, and spiritual resilience that empowers us to persevere through trials. CWe 15.2
Trusting God looks like choosing to align our lives with His will, gaining access to His perfect guidance as we follow Him on paths that ultimately benefit us. His protection shields us from seen and unseen harm, as He watches over us who place our trust in Him. CWe 15.3
Moreover, as we trust in God, we recognize that our blessings are a result of His grace and faithfulness. Contentment and gratitude arise from the assurance that God is in control and that He is working all things together for our good. This contentment frees us from the relentless pursuit of worldly possessions and achievements, allowing us to find joy in the simple blessings of life.[14] https://stewardship.adventist.org/page216 CWe 15.4
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.” Isaiah 26:3, 4 NKJV CWe 15.5
“As you ask the Lord to help you, honor your Saviour by believing that you do receive His blessing. All power, all wisdom, are at our command. We have only to ask.” Ellen White in With God at Dawn, p. 98 CWe 15.6
