Counsel #1 — Seven Last Plagues Definition CFL 67

Picture: Counsel #1 — Seven Last Plagues Definition CFL 67.1

Seventh-day Adventists believe the Bible teaches that the seven last plagues are still future, that they will begin to fall soon after the close of human probation,[62]As the door closed to the ark before the rain began to fall (Genesis 7:16) and no one outside could enter its safety, so there will be a time when people will have made their final decision on whose side they stand — Jesus’ or Satan’s. At this time the righteous will no longer choose to sin and the unrepentant will no longer have access to forgiveness of sins. This event is called the “close of probation.” and they come to a close with the second coming of Christ. All seven plagues are literal and will cause intense physical suffering on those who have not accepted Christ as Lord and received pardon for their sins. CFL 67.2

The plagues unify the unrepentant in a universal conspiracy to annihilate God’s people, demonstrating that they are, indeed, rebels against divine authority.[63]https://www.adultbiblestudyguide.org/pdf.php?file=2019:1Q:TE:PDFs:ETQ119_11.pdf CFL 67.3

“Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete.” Revelation 15:1 NKJV CFL 67.4

“God has always given men warning of coming judgments. Those who had faith in His message for their time, and who acted out their faith in obedience to His commandments, escaped the judgments that fell upon the disobedient and unbelieving.” Ellen White in Last Day Events, p. 13 CFL 67.5
