Seventh-day Adventists believe the Bible teaches that the seven last plagues are still future, that they will begin to fall soon after the close of human probation,^{[62]As the door closed to the ark before the rain began to fall (Genesis 7:16) and no one outside could enter its safety, so there will be a time when people will have made their final decision on whose side they stand — Jesus’ or Satan’s. At this time the righteous will no longer choose to sin and the unrepentant will no longer have access to forgiveness of sins. This event is called the “close of probation.”} and they come to a close with the second coming of Christ.
