Counsel #4 — Ultimate Occultic Deception

Picture: Counsel #4 — Ultimate Occultic DeceptionCFL 22.1

Just before Jesus comes in power and glory the second time, Satan will personate Jesus by disguising himself as a radiant angel of light, appearing in various places and performing awe-inspiring miracles. He will speak beautiful and compassionate words, and fake righteousness so effectively that if it were possible, he would deceive even God’s people (see Matthew 24:24). But because Satan will also turn the people from the God’s law, God’s true, steadfast followers will not be deceived.[18]https://ssnet.org/blog/10-satans-final-deceptions/ - The study begins at minute marker 10:59.CFL 22.2

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:13, 14 NKJVCFL 22.3

“As the crowning act in the great drama of deception, Satan himself will personate Christ…. The great deceiver will make it appear that Christ has come. In different parts of the earth, Satan will manifest himself among men as a majestic being of dazzling brightness, resembling the description of the Son of God given by John in Revelation. Revelation 1:13-15. The glory that surrounds [Satan] is unsurpassed by anything that mortal eyes have yet beheld…. This is the strong, almost overmastering delusion.” Ellen White in The Great Controversy, p. 624, 625CFL 22.4

Reflect: How are you preparing now to prevent being deceived in the future from joining nearly the whole world in receiving Satan as lord of lords and king of kings?CFL 22.5
