With small farms largely a thing of the past, most people reside in the cities for job opportunities, entertainment, and convenience. However, the increasing violence, crime, drug use, racism, and God-bashing entertainment provide little opportunity to prepare spiritually for the impending crisis. Country living provides far greater opportunities to connect with God through His created works in a quieter and less stressful environment (unless God gives a special call to live in the city to spread the gospel and warn of the coming judgments).CFL 41.2

“Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.” Isaiah 59:14 NKJVCFL 41.4
“The end is near and every city is to be turned upside down in every way. There will be confusion in every city. Everything that can be shaken is to be shaken and we do not know what will come next.” Ellen White in Manuscript Release, vol 1, p. 248CFL 41.5
