We have no guarantee that we will not face calamity, violence, poverty, or disease before Jesus comes to rescue us from this doomed planet. But if we have accepted Jesus as our Savior and Lord, we do have a guarantee that He will walk with us through any difficulty or calamity. Best of all, we have the guarantee of eternal life, where all the problems of earth, including death, will be eliminated by the perfection of God’s eternal kingdom of joy.CFL 15.2
