Satan, the originator of all witchcraft, sorcery, and occult practices (James 3:15), once lived in heaven as an angel of light. There was no discord or evil in heaven until Lucifer (later, Satan) perverted his God-given freedom and harbored jealousy. War broke out in heaven, and Lucifer, with a third of heaven’s angels, was cast out (see Luke 10:18). CFL 20.2
Today many are deceived about the nature of the occult. What may seem like innocent entertainment is actually masterminded by the prince of darkness.CFL 20.3
