We need not fear death. Jesus has triumphed over death and the grave. If we die believing in Jesus, who died for us (Romans 6:23) and now lives again, He will raise us from our “sleep death” and give us eternal life.CFL 5.2
It is essential, however, to understand what the Bible teaches about death so we won’t be deceived by messages from “the dead” that are actually messages from Satan and his fallen angels (See Revelation 12:7-9).CFL 5.3
