Counsel #6 — Result Of National Apostasy

Picture: Counsel #6 — Result Of National ApostasyCFL 56.1

When the United States rejects the principles of its constitution and enacts a Sunday law that deprives its citizens of religious liberty, apostasy becomes a national sin and our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness and justice. God’s limit of tolerance will be reached, and national apostasy will be followed by national ruin.[53]https://www.ministrymagazine.org/archive/1973/12/sabbathkeeping-patriotism-and-national-ruinCFL 56.2

“And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it.” Jeremiah 18:9, 10 NKJVCFL 56.3

“A time is coming when the law of God is, in a special sense, to be made void in our land [the United States of America].… When our nation, in its legislative councils, shall enact laws to bind the consciences of men in regard to their religious privileges, enforcing Sunday observance, and bringing oppressive power to bear against those who keep the seventh-day Sabbath, the law of God will, to all intents and purposes, be made void in our land; and national apostasy will be followed by national ruin.” Ellen White in Review and Herald, December 18, 1888, Art. A, par. 6CFL 56.4
