    Law of Indiana Relative to Holding Church Property

    First. The members of the church shall elect three or more, not over nine, trustees, and the trustees so elected shall take count of, and make a full report of, said election within ten days of said election, and file a copy of it in the recorder’s office of the proper county, with the name of the church.RESO 7.4

    Second. The church shall have power then to pass such by-laws as they may deem necessary for the further prosecution of the design and receive by purchase or donation any amount of land not exceeding one hundred acres, and not worth over five thousand dollars, and when such deed is made it shall be recorded in the recorder’s office of said county.RESO 7.5
