SPIRITUAL GIFTS
“GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds.” Hebrews 1:1-2.SGL 3.1
The above text clearly shows that the Lord has had various ways of speaking to His people in different periods of time. In the earliest record of the human race found in Biblical history before sin entered the world, man had communion face to face. We learn also that after man had sinned the Lord instructed His people in an audible voice. In this manner He addressed Adam (Genesis 3:8-18); Cain (Genesis 4:6-15); Noah (Genesis 6:13-22; 7:1-5; 8:15; 9:8, 12, 17); Abraham (Genesis 17:1-6); Isaac (Genesis 26:2-15); Jacob (Genesis 28:13); Moses (Numbers 12:6-8); and Samuel (1 Samuel 3:4).SGL 3.2
