The anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and He, said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart. Exodus 4:14.RRe 166.1

The desire for love and sympathy is implanted in the heart by God Himself. Christ, in His hour of agony in Gethsemane, longed for the sympathy of His disciples.... Paul, though apparently indifferent to hardship and suffering, yearned for sympathy and companionship.—The Acts of the Apostles, 491.RRe 166.2

While we should cultivate sociability, let it not be merely for amusement, but for a higher purpose.—Gospel Workers, 125.RRe 166.4

We may associate together ... and do all to the glory of God.... From all these pleasant associations, we want to be gathering new strength to become better men and women.
