The Number 666

The Scripture gives us still another earmark of this power. We read: “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” “The number of his name.” Revelation 13:17, 18. The note below the eighteenth verse in the Douay, or Catholic, Bible says: “Six hundred sixty-six. The numeral letters of his name shall make up this number.”FAFA 218.5
