Faith in God not only provides a profound sense of peace, but it will also help you change your focus from wanting to control everything in your life to letting go and letting God. In other words, when you learn to lean on God’s divine guidance regardless of stressful circumstances, you will feel an unwavering calm amidst whatever storm comes your way. CWe 72.2
Just like keeping an exercise schedule is required for better physical health, spending time in your Bible and having a consistent prayer life is imperative for strong faith. Believing in God beyond what we can see isn’t easy — our human, sinful nature is designed to doubt first. We must train ourselves to have faith, which comes with trusting that God has a purpose for every occurrence in our lives, whether good or bad. Having genuine faith is only possible through a relationship with God, which requires time in His presence, surrender of self, and a genuine desire for change. In essence, having faith will transform your stresses into opportunities to share your testimony of overcoming with others. It may not be easy, but it sure is worth it![85] https://caymanadventist.org/the-importance-of-faith/ CWe 72.3
