Stress is hard enough to deal with without having to worry about going through the battle alone. At times, stress can feel so overwhelming that it causes us to “shut down.” When you get to the point where nothing in life seems to matter, or you just want to give up, it’s time to reach out for help. CWe 73.2
Whether confiding in friends, family, a mentor, or a professional mental health counselor or therapist, talking about your struggles reduces feelings of isolation, further strengthening emotional support during hard times. Whenever your stress begins to alter your thoughts from “I can do this” to “This is all too much,” others can offer encouragement, guidance, and even resources to help you navigate challenges. Additionally, sharing your stresses with other people can offer insight or another point of view different from your own — allowing you to reframe problems and find constructive ways to cope. God should always be our primary Source of guidance for our troubles, but He also uses other people to help; He never intended for us to suffer solo. So, trust God, seek support, and know that you are never alone![86] https://adventistreview.org/magazine-article/asking-for-help/ CWe 73.3
