Psalm 7

1 O LORD my God, in you do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:AKJV — Psalm 7:1

2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.AKJV — Psalm 7:2

3 O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;AKJV — Psalm 7:3

4 If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with me; (yes, I have delivered him that without cause is my enemy:)AKJV — Psalm 7:4

5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yes, let him tread down my life on the earth, and lay my honor in the dust. Selah.AKJV — Psalm 7:5

6 Arise, O LORD, in your anger, lift up yourself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that you have commanded.AKJV — Psalm 7:6

7 So shall the congregation of the people compass you about: for their sakes therefore return you on high.AKJV — Psalm 7:7

8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity that is in me.AKJV — Psalm 7:8

9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God tries the hearts and reins.AKJV — Psalm 7:9

10 My defense is of God, which saves the upright in heart.AKJV — Psalm 7:10

11 God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.AKJV — Psalm 7:11

12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready.AKJV — Psalm 7:12

13 He has also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors.AKJV — Psalm 7:13

14 Behold, he travails with iniquity, and has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.AKJV — Psalm 7:14

15 He made a pit, and dig it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.AKJV — Psalm 7:15

16 His mischief shall return on his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down on his own pate.AKJV — Psalm 7:16

17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.AKJV — Psalm 7:17
