Psalm 147

1 Praise you the LORD: for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.AKJV — Psalm 147:1

2 The LORD does build up Jerusalem: he gathers together the outcasts of Israel.AKJV — Psalm 147:2

3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.AKJV — Psalm 147:3

4 He tells the number of the stars; he calls them all by their names.AKJV — Psalm 147:4

5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.AKJV — Psalm 147:5

6 The LORD lifts up the meek: he casts the wicked down to the ground.AKJV — Psalm 147:6

7 Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise on the harp to our God:AKJV — Psalm 147:7

8 Who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow on the mountains.AKJV — Psalm 147:8

9 He gives to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.AKJV — Psalm 147:9

10 He delights not in the strength of the horse: he takes not pleasure in the legs of a man.AKJV — Psalm 147:10

11 The LORD takes pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.AKJV — Psalm 147:11

12 Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion.AKJV — Psalm 147:12

13 For he has strengthened the bars of your gates; he has blessed your children within you.AKJV — Psalm 147:13

14 He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest of the wheat.AKJV — Psalm 147:14

15 He sends forth his commandment on earth: his word runs very swiftly.AKJV — Psalm 147:15

16 He gives snow like wool: he scatters the hoarfrost like ashes.AKJV — Psalm 147:16

17 He casts forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?AKJV — Psalm 147:17

18 He sends out his word, and melts them: he causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.AKJV — Psalm 147:18

19 He shows his word to Jacob, his statutes and his judgments to Israel.AKJV — Psalm 147:19

20 He has not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise you the LORD.AKJV — Psalm 147:20
