    The auditor, W. H. Edwards, then submitted his report, as follows:—GCB January 1, 1897, page 59.1

    This is to certify that I have examined the books of the Seventh-day Adventist Publishing Association both in the banking and manufacturing departments, and find them methodically kept, and accurately so, according to my best knowledge and belief.GCB January 1, 1897, page 59.2

    S. H. Lane moved, W. C. White seconded, that the treasurer’s report be accepted. In support of the motion, W. C. White commented favorably upon the management of the association, especially in its efforts to reduce its liabilities and accounts receivable, and to guard well the stability of the institution. The motion to accept was carried.GCB January 1, 1897, page 59.3

    On motion of W. C. Gage the auditor’s report was accepted.GCB January 1, 1897, page 59.4

    The secretary then read the minutes of the advisory meetings held by the stockholders in College View, in connection with the General Conference.GCB January 1, 1897, page 59.5

    It was voted to authorize the chairman to appoint the necessary committees. Thereupon the following named were: On nominations, J. N. Loughborough, O. H. Jones, R. A. Underwood; on plans, G. C. Tenney, S. H. Lane, W. C. White.GCB January 1, 1897, page 59.6

    The meeting then adjourned to 9 A. M., March 11.GCB January 1, 1897, page 59.7
