1. Christian Experience and Views Supplement—1854

In 1854, when she published a supplement to her first book, Christian Experience and Views, she explained and amplified a few earlier statements. She discussed what she had said about the Sabbath, the open and shut door, spirit manifestations, descriptions of God the Father, and certain questions on stewardship. She explained context and meaning and attempted to clear up misunderstanding regarding circumstances. In other words, as a writer she did a hermeneutical examination of herself.
