    REPORTING

It is the sacred duty of all non-resident members of the church to report their standing every quarter. There are four quarterly meetings each year, held on the first Sabbath of the months of January, April, July, and October. The reports of absent members are always mentioned at the quarterly business meeting of the church, and generally extracts from them are read for the encouragement of those assembled. These reports should be sent in two weeks before the various quarterly meetings, and may be addressed thus:—MBC94 11.1

CLERK OF THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH.
    Battle Creek, Mich.
    MBC94 11.2

And such reports should be accompanied with the Lord’s tithe. The fourth Sabbath donations for missionary work, and gifts for the Lord’s poor, in which all should bear some part, may be sent with the tithe. Even if the tithe and donations are small, very small, they should faithfully be sent in. In sending money, P. O. orders, or draft on bank, are altogether safest.MBC94 11.3
