    “HELPERS.”

Every member of the church in the several districts should be a helper in Christ. Personal work should be done by every one. If, then, there is a case of sickness or want, or neglect in attending the meetings, the brethren and sisters will find it out, and should report the same to the leaders at once. If a new family of Sabbath-keepers moves into the district from some other party of the city or from another State, or some one moves out, the brethren and sisters should make a note of this, and report the same to the leaders. Points of interest thus mentioned can sometimes be made use of in the meetings. And at the monthly meeting of the leaders, the minister in charge, or church elders, will be brought in touch with every Sabbath-keeper in Battle Creek, whether he belongs to this church or not.MBC94 7.6

This arrangement is practically the same as that which is maintained in all well-regulated camp meetings.MBC94 8.1
