“For seven years Ulfilas labored assiduously at the great task (translating the Bible) which he had undertaken. At the end of that time the whole Bible, with the exception perhaps of the Book of Kings had been translated into the vernacular ... The achievement of Ulfilas requires a more especial attention for the reason that the Gothic Bible thus produced was the first Bible ever written in a Teutonic language.”WWPGC 12.4

It would seem to me that this translation made by Ulfilas gave to the Goths the first translation of the Holy Scriptures.WWPGC 12.5
