    Other Considerations

    The moral evils of a flesh diet are not less marked than are the physical ills. Flesh food is injurious to health and whatever affects the body has a corresponding effect on the mind and soul. Think of the cruelty to animals that meat eating involves, and its effect on those who inflict and those who behold it.     We have the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, which is the spirit of prophecy. Priceless gems are to be found in the Word of God. Those who search this Word should keep the mind clear. Never should they indulge perverted appetite in eating or drinking.SUFF 6.5
