Counsel #21 — Write it Down!

    Picture: Counsel #21 — Write it Down!CMH 23.1

When you feel overwhelmed, your mind can become a chaotic storm of thoughts and emotions. Writing your feelings to God on paper, much like casting a fishing net into a turbulent sea, can help you catch and examine what’s truly going on inside. This process of clarifying your thoughts and identifying your emotions isn’t just about self-help; it’s an act of bringing your entire self—mind, body, and spirit—before God. Writing can become a form of prayer, a personal and intimate way of speaking to your Creator. It allows you to be honest about your fears, anxieties, and struggles, laying them all out before the One who promises to be your Refuge and Strength. As you write to God, you shift your focus from the problem to the One who holds all things together, trusting that He hears you and will help you find peace.[25] https://adventistreview.org/magazine-article/a-prayer-journal-changed-my-life/ CMH 23.2
