    Counsel #16 — Always There

    Picture: Counsel #16 — Always ThereCMH 119.1

Imagine walking through a thick fog where you can barely see what’s ahead. You remember where the sun was shining last, so you keep moving in that direction, trusting the light is still there. That’s what faith is like.CMH 119.2

Sometimes, it feels like God is hidden behind a cloud - quiet, distant, or even absent. In these moments, our faith is always tested, causing us to question the very foundation of what we believe. The truth of the matter is this: a person will never know the level of faith they have until they’re tested. Until something you were depending on doesn’t happen. Until someone you love passes away. Until what seemed to be God’s will was really a trap from the enemy. Although our feelings will tell us to shut God out in these moments, the best thing to do is to seek His guidance. As Christians, we can never rely on what we see. God operates in the supernatural, which is beyond what our finite minds will ever comprehend. Whenever you’re tested, trust that God is with you always, waiting to guide you through your darkest days.[128] https://marshallmi.adventistchurch.org/40-days---prayer-and-devotions-to-revive-your-experience-with-god/day-31--the-storms-of-life CMH 119.3
