True and lasting peace isn’t found in temporary fixes or worldly distractions. Many people, driven by a deep longing for tranquility, turn to things like self-medication, various spiritual philosophies, or escape through entertainment. But these only provide a fleeting sense of calm. The fundamental issue is a separation from God, a life lived without Christ at its center. The peace the world offers ignores this core problem, focusing instead on managing symptoms rather than addressing the root cause. In contrast, God offers a peace that transcends circumstances, a peace that flows from a restored relationship with Him.
