    Romans 16

    1 Now I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deaconess a16:1 Or servant in the church at Cenchrea.ISV — Romans 16:1

    2 Welcome her in the Lord as is appropriate for saints, and provide her with anything she may need from you, for she has assisted many people, including me.ISV — Romans 16:2

    18 because such people are not serving the Messiah l16:18 Or Christ our Lord, but their own desires. By their smooth talk and flattering words they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.ISV — Romans 16:18

    19 For your obedience has become known to everyone, and I am full of joy for you. But I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.ISV — Romans 16:19
