Joshua 19

1 The second lot came out for Simeon, even for the tribe of the descendants of Simeon according to their families. Their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the descendants of Judah.NHEB — Joshua 19:1

2 And they had for their inheritance Beersheba, and Moladah,NHEB — Joshua 19:2

3 and Hazar Shual, and Balah, and Ezem,NHEB — Joshua 19:3

4 and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,NHEB — Joshua 19:4

5 and Ziklag, and Beth Marcaboth, and Hazar Susah,NHEB — Joshua 19:5

6 and Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities with their villages;NHEB — Joshua 19:6

7 En Rimmon, and Token, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities with their villages;NHEB — Joshua 19:7

8 and all the villages that were around these cities to Baalath Beer, Ramath Negev. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the descendants of Simeon according to their families.NHEB — Joshua 19:8

9 Out of the part of the descendants of Judah was the inheritance of the descendants of Simeon; for the portion of the descendants of Judah was too much for them. Therefore the descendants of Simeon had inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.NHEB — Joshua 19:9

10 And the third lot came up for the descendants of Zebulun according to their families, and the border of their inheritance was to Sadud.NHEB — Joshua 19:10

11 Their border went up westward, and to Maralah, and reached to Dabbesheth, and it reached to the wadi that is before Jokneam.NHEB — Joshua 19:11

12 And it turned from Sadud eastward toward the sunrise to the border of Chisloth Tabor, and it went out to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.NHEB — Joshua 19:12

13 From there it passed along eastward to Gath Hepher, to Eth Kazin; and it went out to Rimmon which bends toward Neah.NHEB — Joshua 19:13

14 The border turned around it on the north to Hannathon; and it ended at the Valley of Iphtah El;NHEB — Joshua 19:14

15 Kattath, Nahalal, Shim'on, Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.NHEB — Joshua 19:15

16 This is the inheritance of the descendants of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.NHEB — Joshua 19:16

17 The fourth lot came out for Issachar, even for the descendants of Issachar according to their families.NHEB — Joshua 19:17

18 And their border was to Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,NHEB — Joshua 19:18

19 and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,NHEB — Joshua 19:19

20 and Daberath, and Kishion, and Ebez,NHEB — Joshua 19:20

21 and Remeth, and Engannim, and En Haddah, and Beth Pazzez.NHEB — Joshua 19:21

22 The border reached to Tabor, and Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh; and their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.NHEB — Joshua 19:22

23 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the descendants of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages.NHEB — Joshua 19:23

24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the descendants of Asher according to their families.NHEB — Joshua 19:24

25 Their border was from Helkath (and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,NHEB — Joshua 19:25

26 and Allammelech, and Amad, and Mishal) and it reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihor Libnath.NHEB — Joshua 19:26

27 And it turned eastward to Beth Dagon, and reached to Zebulun and to the Valley of Iphtah El on the north. And the border goes north to Beth Emek and Neiel, and it went out to Cabul on the north,NHEB — Joshua 19:27

28 and Abdon, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even to Greater Sidon.NHEB — Joshua 19:28

29 The border turned to Ramah, to the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah, and it ended at the sea; Mahalab, and Achzib,NHEB — Joshua 19:29

30 and Acco, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities with their villages.NHEB — Joshua 19:30

31 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the descendants of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.NHEB — Joshua 19:31

32 The sixth lot came out for the descendants of Naphtali, even for the descendants of Naphtali according to their families.NHEB — Joshua 19:32

33 Their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, Adaminekeb, and Jabneel, to Lakkum. It ended at the Jordan.NHEB — Joshua 19:33

34 The border turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, and went out from there to Hukkok. It reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah at the Jordan toward the east.NHEB — Joshua 19:34

35 The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,NHEB — Joshua 19:35

36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,NHEB — Joshua 19:36

37 Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor,NHEB — Joshua 19:37

38 Yiron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.NHEB — Joshua 19:38

39 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the descendants of Naphtali according to their families, the cities with their villages.NHEB — Joshua 19:39

40 The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the descendants of Dan according to their families.NHEB — Joshua 19:40

41 And the border of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir Shemesh,NHEB — Joshua 19:41

42 and Shaalbin, and Aijalon, and Jithlah,NHEB — Joshua 19:42

43 and Elon, and Timnah, and Ekron,NHEB — Joshua 19:43

44 and Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,NHEB — Joshua 19:44

45 and Jehud, and Azzur, and Bene Berak, and Gath Rimmon,NHEB — Joshua 19:45

46 and from the sea, Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Joppa.NHEB — Joshua 19:46

47 And the border of the descendants of Dan slipped out of their control, so the descendants of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and after capturing it and striking it with the sword they took possession of it and dwelt in it, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their ancestor.NHEB — Joshua 19:47

48 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the descendants of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.NHEB — Joshua 19:48

49 So they made an end of distributing the land for inheritance by its borders. The children of Israel gave an inheritance among them to Joshua the son of Nun.NHEB — Joshua 19:49

50 According to the commandment of the LORD, they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and lived there.NHEB — Joshua 19:50

51 These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of ancestral houses of the tribes of the children of Israel distributed by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the Tent of Meeting. So they made an end of dividing the land.NHEB — Joshua 19:51
