    Romans 12

    1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.NHEB — Romans 12:1

    2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.NHEB — Romans 12:2

    3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to everyone among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.NHEB — Romans 12:3

    4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members do not have the same function,NHEB — Romans 12:4

    5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.NHEB — Romans 12:5

    6 And we have different gifts according to the grace that was given to us. If prophecy, according to the proportion of the faith;NHEB — Romans 12:6

    7 if service, in the service; if teaching, in the teaching;NHEB — Romans 12:7

    8 if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, in generosity; leading, in diligence; showing mercy, in cheerfulness.NHEB — Romans 12:8

    9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.NHEB — Romans 12:9

    10 In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate one to another; outdo one another in showing honor;NHEB — Romans 12:10

    11 not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;NHEB — Romans 12:11

    12 rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;NHEB — Romans 12:12

    13 contributing to the needs of the saints; given to hospitality.NHEB — Romans 12:13

    14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse.NHEB — Romans 12:14

    15 Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.NHEB — Romans 12:15

    16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be arrogant, but associate with the humble. Do not be conceited.NHEB — Romans 12:16

    17 Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all people.NHEB — Romans 12:17

    18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all people.NHEB — Romans 12:18

    19 Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for the wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."NHEB — Romans 12:19

    20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for by doing this you will heap coals of fire on his head."NHEB — Romans 12:20

    21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.NHEB — Romans 12:21
