    As the world becomes increasingly chaotic, fear for our physical safety is natural.[23] https://adventistreview.org/magazine-article/times-of-trouble/ Yet, as followers of Christ, we know our true well-being rests in the security of our souls.[24]Matthew 10:28 Even if we lose our lives in this wicked world,[25]Psalms 91 we can have eternal salvation through Jesus—the Giver of Life.CWe 23.2

    Our safety depends on choosing between selfishness, which destroys, and following Christ, Who gives us eternal life. In the end, He will not let darkness overcome those who trust Him. This assurance rests in Jesus’ faithfulness to forgive our sins and cover us with His righteousness, redeeming us for eternity.CWe 23.3

    Living by faith instead of fear demonstrates our trust in God’s promises. This faith gives us courage to face uncertainty in this world, knowing our eternal destiny is secure in Christ. Trusting Him is an act of surrender—and the path to true peace and safety in a crumbling world.CWe 23.4

    Ask Jesus today for the grace to trust Him fully—and to bring you with Him to heaven at last!CWe 23.5
