    Counsel #28 — In God’s Timing

    Picture: Counsel #28 — In God’s TimingCWe 88.1

One of the primary reasons people are so stressed out is that they lack patience. Understandably, it’s sometimes difficult to wait for things we truly want, whether that be a job offer, a marriage proposal, or a loan approval.CWe 88.2

However, developing patience is something God requires of every believer — it’s a fruit of the Spirit. Having patience in any given situation can be the determining factor between acceptance or rejection, promotion or demotion, and life or death. Recognizing that not everything is within your control is the first step in shifting your perspective and trusting in God’s timing. Instead of stressing over things you can’t control, use that mental energy to be grateful for the things God’s done in your life. Reflecting on the positives not only transforms frustration into peace but also builds emotional resilience. As a believer, God desires for you to stay calm and trust His process — a recipe that will undoubtedly make life’s challenges easier to handle.[103] https://youtu.be/aJeNUlNY7Iw?si=VuibTYX-Dolz1h7l CWe 88.3

Reflect: When faced with challenges, how can you practice patience instead of reacting with frustration?CWe 88.6
