Counsel #12 — Not Mutually Exclusive

Picture: Counsel #12 — Not Mutually ExclusiveCSe 22.1

Some claim that rejecting the theory of evolution is anti-science. However, your belief in a Creator does not impede you from being a successful physician, business person, musician, chemist, or engineer! In fact, such belief might even enhance your success. Creationists only challenge the aspects of science that contradict the Genesis creation story. They can thrive in other disciplines, including the study of microevolution, which examines minor adaptations, such as an animal or plant adapting to a new environment, or a microbe becoming immune to an antibacterial agent. Creationists can also research the feasibility of significant evolutionary changes (macroevolution) like the transition from reptiles to mammals, determining what is biologically realistic. An anti-science attitude in a creationist stems from their personal choice, not from their belief in creation.[20]https://www.grisda.org/science-and-the-bible-in-educationCSe 22.2
