Counsel #2 — War In Heaven

Picture: Counsel #2 — War In HeavenCSe 73.1

Lucifer persisted in spreading discontent among the angels that sympathized with his rebellion. Though Jesus warned Lucifer of the consequences of his deceptions and counseled him in love to re-join the family of God, Lucifer stubbornly defended his own choices. Ultimately, there was war in heaven between Christ and His angels and Lucifer and his angels. Lucifer, now Satan, was cast to the earth.[73]https://www.eldersdigest.org/en/2017/4/war-in-heavenCSe 73.2

“And war broke out in heaven: Michael[74]“Michael, the great prince” in Daniel 12:1 (see also Jude 9) indicates that Michael is Jesus Himself, not a created being or angelical creature. and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:7-9 NKJVCSe 73.3

“There was war in heaven. Angels were engaged in the battle; Satan wished to conquer the Son of God and those who were submissive to His will. But the good and true angels prevailed, and Satan, with his followers, was driven from heaven.” Ellen White in Early Writings, p.146CSe 73.4
