Satan made heavy accusations against God, using flattery and deceit to accuse Him of injustice and misuse of authority before the universe, while claiming his own rule would be much better.^{[75]https://www.ministrymagazine.org/archive/1959/01/when-did-satans-fall-occur}CSe 74.2

Consequently, God allowed Satan’s evil kingdom to develop so that all could see the horrible nature of sin. Today the results of rebellion and casting aside the divine law are a lesson for the entire universe, revealing the contrast between Satan’s rule of terror and God’s rule of justice and mercy (see Psalms 97:2). Observing the history of this terrible experiment of rebellion is a safeguard to help us recognize the source of our temptations and resist them in Christ’s power (see Philippians 4:13).CSe 74.3
